Why PCF?
The Virginia Peninsula is at the cusp of exciting economic change. High growth industries present a generational opportunity for innovation, prosperity and quality of life. But our greatest potential can only be reached when we all succeed.
Multiplier Effect
Small business entrepreneurs, medical practice leaders, and community developers create the jobs and support the key growth industries that have a multiplier effect on our economy. When these leaders are behind us, all of our residents – and our state – thrives.
Unfortunately, many entrepreneurs in our underinvested communities have been excluded by banks and contract opportunities that sustain businesses and families for the long run. And these communities – even in the cultural heart of our region – have suffered and stagnated.
PCF was launched to change that
In partnership with the Peninsula's leading institutions, healthcare providers and employers, we will ensure that local under-resourced businesses have access to a healthy, diverse talent pool, technical assistance, flexible capital, and contracting opportunities to ensure that every neighborhood participates in the region’s growth. Let’s make this one of the country’s best places to live, work and play.
